Why painting is different in San Bernardino
The sun does the damage here. San Bernardino has long, hot, dry summers, with average highs near 96 degrees in July and 97 in August, and only about 16 inches of rain a year. Paint on south and west walls fades and turns chalky. Wood fascia, eaves and fences dry out and crack years before the stucco needs attention. In fall and winter, Santa Ana winds come down the Cajon Pass with dust that settles into stucco texture.
The houses matter too. Most are stucco, with textured walls inside, and many built before the 1980s have popcorn ceilings. You call, text or book online, and we walk the job and measure. You get a written quote that lists the prep, the paint and the price. Before painting we cover floors and furniture and repair and prime the surfaces. Then come two coats, clean lines, a full clean-up and a final walk-through with you.
